Globus Premium 400 | Four-Channel Electrotherapy System

Premium 400 is a four-channel, rechargeable electrostimulation device with sport, fitness, beauty, TENS/pain, microcurrent, rehabilitation, incontinence and iontophoresis menus. A programme name does not mean that it is appropriate for every person or guarantees a result.

Premium 400 includes 258 programmes: 53 Sport, 44 Special Sport, 58 Fitness, 36 Beauty, 23 Microcurrent, 12 TENS and Pain, 3 Rehabilitation, 3 Incontinence, 1 Iontophoresis, 18 serial sequential stimulation and 7 Action Now programmes.

EMS and TENS programmes can use one to four independent channels, with four electrode leads and up to eight electrodes. Microcurrent uses the specified channels and iontophoresis uses channel 1 only; consult the manual for the correct lead arrangement.

The device has a 2.6-inch visible display area, 0.3–150 Hz frequency range, 0–120 mA per channel, rechargeable battery, approximate dimensions of 100 × 160 × 35 mm and approximate weight of 454 g. Check the device label and supplied manual for the delivered revision.

Different editions may state an EMS/TENS pulse-width range of 40–450 µs or 50–450 µs. Use the current manual and the information supplied with the delivered unit rather than assuming values from an older edition apply.

The menus include options such as warm-up, active recovery, maximum strength, strength endurance, explosive strength, aerobic endurance, reactivity, post-event recovery and hypertrophy, plus sport-specific labels for activities such as running, tennis, football and cycling.

Fitness includes 58 options such as toning, shaping, body building, definition, jogging and aerobic or anaerobic fitness. The 36-programme Beauty menu includes drainage, toning massage and connective-tissue massage labels. These labels are not outcome guarantees.

The menu includes conventional, modulated and endorphinic TENS plus labels for menstrual, chronic, cervical, muscle, knee, shoulder-area and lower-back pain. They are not a diagnosis or a substitute for medical advice about unexplained pain or new injury.

Premium 400 has 23 microcurrent programmes, 3 rehabilitation programmes, 3 incontinence programmes and one iontophoresis programme. These can involve medical considerations and require correct leads, settings and professional guidance where appropriate.

In the 18-combination 3S menu, channels 3 and 4 start after channels 1 and 2. Action Now combines stimulation with voluntary dynamic or isometric exercise. The 2+2 mode can run two EMS or TENS programmes simultaneously; each placement and setting must be considered separately.

They support programme access and session organisation: recent programmes, saved favourites, separate user lists, guided use and restricted programme access. They do not remove the need to assess suitability, electrode placement or intensity.

Connect the leads while the unit is off, place the electrodes on clean skin, start the programme and raise each channel gradually. Do not remove electrodes during use or continue with damaged leads, worn electrodes or poor skin contact.

Do not apply stimulation to the front of the neck/carotid sinus, eyes or brain. Pacemaker users, pregnant people, people with tumour disease, unexplained pain, wounds or dermatological disorders, severe trauma or very recent scars should not use the device. Do not stimulate chest and back muscles at the same time.

The listed standard set includes the unit, bag, four EMS/TENS leads, two grey microcurrent/iontophoresis leads, square and rectangular electrodes, charger, user manual and warranty document. Keep the device clean and dry; do not open or repair it yourself.
