Globus Genesy 1500 | Four-Channel Electrotherapy Platform

Genesy 1500 is a four-channel electrotherapy platform for professional rehabilitation environments. Its menus include EMS/Russian currents, TENS, microcurrent, denervation, iontophoresis, rehabilitation, sport, fitness and beauty programmes. Suitability and settings must follow the current manual and professional assessment.

The programme list totals 414: 92 EMS/Russian, 84 Action Now, 54 serial sequential stimulation, 53 sport, 33 pain, 29 fitness, 23 microcurrent, 16 beauty, 11 rehabilitation, 9 denervation, 6 interferential, 3 incontinence and 1 iontophoresis programme.

The device has four independent channels and can be used with up to eight electrodes in the appropriate configuration. Available channels vary by programme family; always follow the connection instructions for the selected programme.

Key specifications include a 2.6-inch visible display area, a 0.3–150 Hz frequency range, 0–120 mA output per channel, rechargeable battery operation and mains power. The technical sheet lists approximately 100 × 160 × 35 mm and 454 g.

Older manuals may show 50–450 µs and 404 g, while the newer technical sheet lists 40–450 µs and 454 g. These differences can reflect production period or revision. The label and current manual supplied with the delivered device take priority.

The pain menu includes conventional, low- and high-frequency, endorphinic and other TENS options, with labels for areas such as knee, neck, shoulder and lower back. Menu names do not replace a diagnosis or individual treatment advice.

The 23 microcurrent programmes use the dedicated grey leads and the specified channel outputs. Microcurrent is distinct from standard EMS and TENS. For clinical use, connection, intensity and programme choice should be guided by a qualified professional.

Denervation and rehabilitation programmes require individual clinical assessment, parameter selection and electrode placement. They are not self-treatment options for unexplained symptoms, trauma or post-operative recovery.

Genesy 1500 includes six interferential programmes and 92 EMS/Russian programmes. It also has one iontophoresis programme using channel 1 and the dedicated grey lead. Iontophoresis, including any medicine involved, requires professional direction.

Action Now combines EMS contraction with voluntary exercise. In 3S, channels 3 and 4 start after channels 1 and 2 for sequential muscle activation. The 2+2 mode can run two different EMS or TENS programmes at the same time; it does not apply to microcurrent or iontophoresis.

Auto Stim can restart a compatible saved EMS or TENS programme using the previous channel levels. Last 10 stores recent programmes, Favourites gives quick access, and Multi User keeps these lists separate. Use saved intensity only with the same user, programme and electrode placement.

With the device switched off, connect leads to the electrodes, then place the electrodes on clean intact skin before starting the programme. Use the coloured leads for EMS, TENS and denervation, and the grey leads where required. Never remove electrodes while a programme is running.

When the battery indicator is low, switch off the device and disconnect the electrodes before charging with the compatible charger. Do not open the device or replace the battery yourself; contact technical support if service is required.

The listed package includes the Genesy 1500 unit, carrying bag, four coloured leads, two grey leads, square and rectangular self-adhesive electrodes, power supply and user manual. Some probes, gels, face electrodes, elastic bands and adapters may be optional.

Do not apply stimulation to the front of the neck/carotid sinus, eyes or brain. The manual lists pacemaker users, pregnancy, tumour disease, unexplained pain, ulcers or dermatological conditions, severe trauma and very recent scars among situations where use is not appropriate. Seek medical advice where a health condition is present.
